Very dark color, long legs, nose light fruity, increasing with the time of opening, flavour intense with ripe tanins, hints of fruits and long at the palate, will try again tomorrow

X-Dry. Med acidity. Med tannins. Med+ body. Med+ finish.
14.5% abv. Deep ruby red, garnet hues. Aromas of black currant, blackberry, leather, hint smoke and spice are present. Palate is medium+ bodied with super smooth tannins and flavours of dark fruit, smoke and mocha. Acidity is balancing.
Underwhelming nose but after sitting in the glass for 10-15, it opens up nicely. Quite a bit of sediment in the bottle.

Tobacco, earthy, a bit vegetal. Fruit came after a while but not particularly to the fore. Big on the alcohol and quite a feisty spicy kick. I had with a homemade slow cooked beef curry that went very well. Nice and chewy. Not too serious.
