  • This was a pass for me. Very acidic but not in a rocks and gravel way, but in the metallic harsh sense. There just may not have been good fruit here to begin with, or it has faded away in 10 years - makes me a tad concerned over the other 2008 red burgs in my collection. Nose and palate shows forest floor, minerals, anise.

  • The color is relatively transparent. The wine is very fine on the nose, with beautiful aromas of dark cherries and red berries. The medium-bodied taste is pleasant, with flavors of dark cherry and red berries. The tannins are still strongly present, so the wine leaves an astringent aftertaste, but it helps here a lot, if the wine is enjoyed with food.

  • Still very primary fruit on the nose and palate with tasty acidity and sour cherries on the finish. Needs more time!

  • Popped and poured. Light, brighter color. Nose = Forrest floor, red cherries, a hint of tropical, and a small bit of green veggies. Nice balance of tannin and acid. A bit of dirt, dusty cherries, cedar and (again) some tropical at the end. Not on over long finish, but nice wine.... Very good QPR. Seems lime it could age more but pretty goodmright now - buy more.
