Complex, bright, focused, lively, tannic; mineralic, cherry and blackberry fruit. I think it needs a couple of more years for everything to be more harmonious and calm down some. Potential is there. Be patient.

Vibrant color with a nose of blackberry jam, smoke, leather and mocha. In mouth it's a bright wine with dark cherry notes and a nice landing. Should fill out still a little.

The color of ripe cherries with garnet highlights. Intense aroma, dominated by black fruits and jam, spices and oak notes. Also present spicy notes of clove and coffee with elements of clay minerals. Taste - intense, concentrated and well balanced. Very well.

Highly-rated Spanish wine-tasting (Watson's, Hong Kong): 100 Tinto Fino. 13.5% alcohol. Very old vines - spends 16-18 months in new oak. Thick, rich, almost Balsamic. Quite intense fruit. Needs a few years to allow the coarse tannins to drop out and get balance with the oak. Good finish.

Favorably impressed and agree both with Jona, Richard and misternordin on this one. Drank at tasting and didn't take specific notes so rather than not put notes in I read those below and found I agreed retrospectfully with their comments.

Modern hi-tech they say. This was one of the most difficult wines to judge..., and I need a bottle of my own. A soft wine but fine finish. Some bitterness - good or bad? Both jammy and cool fruit. Clean nose - very syrahish also. Buy and try. 90+p.

100% Tempranillo. With a nose of cherries, chocolate, coffee and vanilla, it smells fantastic. Still very young but opens up generously in the glass. Medium-bodied, elegant and perfectly balanced. Complex and spicy. Pleasantly fruit-driven. I had it alongside a toast with mushrooms, bacon and Parmesan cheese and the match was just perfect. This is certainly one of the best matching wines I’ve ever had to mushrooms. It will probably improve with age, but why store it? It’s already fab. Drink it today!

I think it may be past its prime. The fruit seemed to have dropped of a bit and it was no longer bright. It seemed rather chunky (or clunky?).
