This bottle was very good, it has aged well, a touch of vanilla with nice fruit and the oak is well integrated, good structure and lots of complexity, not a Burgundy but Cali, it is an Oregon wine, drank with black bass roasted whole and baked clams, my last bottle of the 2010 but I will drink other vintages.

As expected, another wonderful bottle of Arthur. The French burgundian style of this wine is truly an achievement. Perfectly balanced, robust without unctuousness, melon and lemon on the nose, toast, honeyed finish that lingers.

Yummy burgundy style chard. Light medium yellow, hint of vanilla aroma, apple, lemon, grass. Palate is similar, with light oak, vanilla, toasty, med body, medium finish. Good acidity to go with alfredo sauce pasta.

The wine did not do it for me this time. I felt the oak to be somewhat overpowering. Good fruit and acid but the wine never settled in for me. Maybe the wine is on the decline. The next bottle will tell me alot. Drank with Branzino.

Chilled for an hour or so, then poured. Light yellow with no sign of aging. On the nose it's beautiful, with tart apple and pear, a touch of oak, cut grass, and lots of ripe lime. Similar notes on the palate, this has excellent balance and beautifully integrated oak. The finish is crisp and clean, with a nice crackle of acidity. I suspect this is in its peak drinking window and will stay in it for a while.

Very nice, burgundian style chardonnay, clean and crisp, with mineral notes and citrus balanced against a light touch of oak. Paired well with smoked salmon on brioche toast.

Goodness. Drinking then10 and 11 against each other today. Color is similar with the 10 showing a bit of age. Massive crime brûlée, malolactic acid. Concentrated fruit. Lacks the nose of the 11 but creamier.

Just checking in, I think this bottle may have had a bit of cork failure so keep that in mind. Softened acidity, a more creamy texture than before. Aromas of ripe apple, lemon curd, and oak. On the palate, more citrus and apple with bits of tropical fruit poking out too. The finish is quick and clean, somewhat simple though. Overall, this lacks the complexity that it once had. Still a tasty bottle of wine though.

This wine had subtle minerality, crispness, and unidentifiable exotic fruit notes that seemed somewhat Burgundian in nature. I expect that's what the Drouhins want me to think, but, in this case, I don't think I was simply lured into thinking French because of the family name.

Love this wine. Fruit, balance, bouquet, complexity. I tasted it at the winery at an earlier date and it outshined a Drouhin 2009 Chablis that we drank side by side and I love Chablis. This wine has more fruit and less acid than a Chablis but it is a wonderful wine. The oak is used carefully as only half of the wine has been aged in oak.

Medium green-gold color. Bright aromas of apple, pear, lemon, flowers, and melon. Palate shows plenty of pleasure now but also a lot of potential. Flavors are of yellow apple, ripe melon, sweet lemon, and some honeysuckle on the finish. The finish is medium-long. Drink or hold.

Pale yellow color. Aromas of lemon, apple, pear, and a hint of vanilla. Palate is initially light and lemony with hints of pear. This builds with air time and gains yellow apple and some riper apple characteristics. Drinking fine now and should develop with some time in the bottle. Drink or hold.

Very pretty, soft butter and strong minerality. Acidity is a little soft, but not so much as to make the wine flabby. Maybe some apple and lemon hints.

Fantastic chard! Nose of honeysuckle, apricot and a hint of meyer lemon. Apple, pear and honey kissed dried apricot is a light bodied and wonderfully crisp wine. The minerality beautifully touches the finish into a great chard.

Bright, fresh aromas and flavor and extremely well balanced. Elegant feel on the palate with beautiful acidity and mineral entering into the finish. Probably my favorite vintage I have tasted of this wine when young.

Wow and extraordinary are the first impressions. 2010 was a dry year and the grapes had half their normal juice and all the flavor. The first scent of the bouquet is an over whelming fruit scent of summer. All the berries and apple / pear combinations seem to be there. The taste was delicate and strong flavor without any heavy oak or butter. This is being positioned as the best chardonnay ever produced by DDO
