The slight bottle age gives this a lovely perfume of black and blue fruit, Asian spices, and a whiff of watermelon. Plush and long, with textbook flavors and a touch of fruit sweetness. The finish echoes the Asian spice theme. Attractive.

Deep, fragrant nose showing blackberries, smoke and berry jam, big and juicy, bursts with cherry, raspberry, dried blueberries and minerals, good intensity, lush and sultry, rustic and gutsy

I like the style of this wine and thought it had a very pleasant nose, good fruit and nice balance of tannins and spice. Seemed to get a fair amount of compliments from those I shared it with, mostly upon first impression. After a few hours my wife tried and didn't like it, but those that tried it with about 30-40 mins of air seemed to have immediate good first impression.
Recommended (I'll likely pick up another couple of bottles for consumption soon.)

14.0% - Clear, med to deep ruby with a black hue / clean, med intensity - bing cherries, black pepper, garrigues, spice bouquet (cinnamon, nutmeg), black tea / dry, med- acidity, med to full body, med+ supples and generous tannin, med+ intensity, juicy red berries in the finish with some warm alcohol - kirsch like, but not unpleasant. 87
On day 3 - the palate was more open and expressive and much more representative of the nose which tells me it would have benefited from decanting. 88

Bowl of dark fruit, took a while to open up, but did more so than 12/20 note. Might be better in the next year, but a pretty pleasant GSM, mostly Grenache. Nice $20 wine

Popped and poured and it had WONDERFUL nose of fruit, earth and spices but on tasting, was a little flat. So...decanted and let it sit and it did open up...a fair amount. Tastes was still a shadow of a spectacular nose. This seems to have good potential, but I am thinking this is young and it will age well. Give it at least 6 months if not a year.

PnV. Deep saturated crimson purple with garnet rim. Herbal Bing cherry nose with a earthy black tea note. Medium weight with black tea tannin. Sour cherry cranberry cassis and strawberry with earthy herbal notes. Finish with minerality and bracing acidity.

S: earthy, truffles T: plum, bing cherry, fruity up front, with a nice toasty finish, ends on a dry note. A really nice wine for the price $12 at time of purchase. As good as some $20-$25 wines

Very good typical Southern Rhône wine, good structure, taste and complexity that hold very well with aeration. Nice tannins and acidity. It is possible that it can develop into something better than "very good" with aging.

Vibrant purple, with plum, anise and scorched earth on the nose. Black raspberry and game dominate the palate. The finish is long and peppery with a fresh acidity. Wonderful for the price, drink over the next four or five years.

Dark purple with a great nose full of fieldberries and herbs. Medium to full body, and a bit on the tart side probably due to its young age. Very enjoyable and I think it will improve with age.

Nice balanced wine that I drank over 2 nights. The first night it was more dark fruit with loads of black pepper. The 2nd night it mellowed out to more red and dark fruit with a little less spice at the end. Would buy again at $12.

New vintage on shelf, all done up for the Holidays with tags that say reccomened by WS...I tried the '09 and thought it was decent enough with solid QPR - but not 90 pts as WS gave it...So - this young one sat in glass for a good 30 mins+ - tried over the course of the evening...
GSM blend 14% - Nose is light cherry fruit and palate has bright acid with cherry/sour cherry notes - light and coating tannin. Finish is on the short/medium duration and of similar notes. Bright cherry fruit all over. Kind of one noted. Reminds me of some southern Italian wines. I bet with a year or so in bottle this will mature a little and become smother and maybe a little more "delicious". A little to young around edges, but as per Italian comment - this would be perfect pairing with a variety of food/italian fare.
