Luminous magenta color, very light. Airy but multifaceted nose with a range of aromas from floral to spice to more earthy, morel mushroom-type scents. Still far too young, as the tannins and acid constrict the palate quite tightly. With a few years' time this should hopefully mature into a nimble but complex Pommard quite unlike some of the heavier styles I have had from this appellation.
