A nice easy drinking party wine that opens up and gets better with air. French Cabernet without the sweet over ripe California influence, this wine has notes of earth, savory, milky Cab smoothness and enough bite to hold it all together. Nice PQR.

This is about as well as you can do for a really classic, old-school Bordeaux for under $20. There's a lot of substance and depth here, with a slight rustic touch. Extremely food-friendly. If you see this for mid-to-high teens ($), don't hesitate.

Garnet in color, this wine revealed cigar box, black tea, glycerin and red currant on the nose. The mouth feel brought nice acidity and more red and black fruits. The finish was medium and soft, with the fruit, tannins and acidity coming together very nicely.
At $19US, this wine drank well. It had all the characteristics of Cabernet based Bordeaux but lacked the finesse of higher priced ones.

Wow, this was really good. An unbelievable QPR. I liked the 09, but this is much better. Nice fruit enveloped in a Bordeaux nose, with a palate feel and taste well above it's weight class! Should have bought a bunch!

Good value Bordeaux, typical of a good example of a village wine. Was very nice in 2016. Buy in strong vintages as a value wine?

Very solid and drinking well. Took 2nd place in a $20 and under wine tasting against 8 misc reds.

Interesting wine with malbec in its composition. Red fruits jelly, well balanced, mineral notes at the end.
