Form start to finish, very round bursting with dried wet leaves, vanilla, caremelised onions, eaucalyptus. Very smooth, just a bit oo strong tannins. Still fresh acidity, even a bit pushing the balance. Long finish pushing towards acidity.

Dark ruby. Nose of ripe and sweet plums, blackberry, black cherry. Palate is radiant with pure dark berry fruit, soft and succulent. Full bodied with plenty of power and acidity, but primary in its flavors, thus somewhat simple. Finish is long, with grainy drying tannins which seems to build and become more pronounced with time in the glass. Overall, There is good strenght and depth in the fruit on the palate, but it is a somewhat clumsy wine and so appears maybe a little bit "too much" though that is stylistic preference. A very good bdx blend. 16.5/20

More or less similar to last time. Still tight, but the tannins has been finely grained and slightly more polished on this showing. This time the fruit also showes a gorgeus blueberry, and boysenberry character, also sporting grilled herbs. Thick, succulent, juicy and packing quite a punch!

Decanted for 4 hours prior to tasting. Expressive, almost imploding nose with intense wild cherry, blackcurrant, creme de cassis tobacco leaves, and herbs, particularly and strangely, Sage. All mashed together in a wonderful thick mass of aromatics. Wood on the background. Palate is full of primary fruit, heavily textured, succulent and fullbodied giving way to a mouthdrying wall of tannins on the close. Tons of good stuff here, but wait a few more years for everything to polish off. at the moment it has great fruit and loads of power, but in dire need of shedding its excessive fat and tannins. The aromatics on this monster is just fabulous. It needs more time and will keep for a loooong time.

Big and bold Cab/merlot. Dark fruit, chocolate, coffee and sweet oak tannins. Still young, but certainly drinkable. Very modern styled and very delicius

Dark creamy fruit, cherries and dark bitter chocolate. Pretty dry, but finishes with sweet tannins. Pretty big structure with good freshness. Drinking OK now, but will propably open more up with some bottle age.
When first opened it had the feel of a warm Bordeaux, but a little air gave a clear TUscan profile and could have fooled me as a pure Sangiovese, despite the cabernet/merlot blend
