  • Popped and poured a glass, then decided to decant the rest. Still tight and opening up, but time in decanter and air made a huge difference. Could do with a few more years in bottle. Nose hits you straight away with red fruit, flinty minerality, and a decided sense of place. The terroir practically screams through this - I feel like Jon Rimmerman always describes in his emails. Oak and tannin and well structured acid on the palate, fruit and some "farmyard" notes too. Short finish. I could drink this all day long, and would if I could find it in San Francisco!
