Full body, intense, mostly black fruits with acidic mid palate. Somewhat off balance from the intensity. Needs food. Ok but after 11 years hoped for better balance.

A very good Tuscan Bordeaux blend. A pleasant surprise. Nice fruit, medium weight, some complexity, drank with a steak; Not too high in alcohol, the WA and WS both gave this wine an 89 so maybe this is a wine to seek out. A very good value for the price. Would drink again.

Firm tobacco notes play on aromas of currant, oiled leather baseball mitt, dark ripe cherries, hay bales, wood, and forest floor with hints of black pepper and floral notes. On the palate, lean fruit aromas of currant, blackberry and cherry are accentuated by wood, leather, tobacco and herbs with a distinct earthy tone. the finish is moderate and lingers on walnut. the tannins are soft and acidity is medium.

tasty, fruit-forward - slightly sweet - nice everyday wine - good with pasta and red sauce - wife liked it better than I did, I prefer my wine more on the austere side - would consider buying again on sale Day 2 - a bit more tart, not as enjoyable

There seems to be some bottle variability with Adeo, per my own experience, and hinted in the notes below. Respi-aerate to decanter. Color vibrant cherry red with some dark hues in the center, medium-full body. Like last month the bouquet was again reticent to start, but after a couple hours was showing better with some red and black currants, red plum, earth, gentle notes of spice, slight whiff of mint at times. On the palate, dark currants, ripe cherries, some blackberries, distinct dark chocolate adding richness in the midpalate and finish, and a tasteful dose of oak. Round, soft and velvety moderate tannins. As before, high on delicious, lower on complexity. Good concentration of fruit carries on for an extended finish. For this bottle, delivers very good value at 20.

This bottle did not excite as much as when tasted in the store. Bouquet was restrained with some red berries percolating in the background, while flavors were quite straightforward and typical with cab and merlot. Delicious, pleasant, easy-drinking, low complexity, not particularly memorable. If I were drinking it blind I would guess a well made wine in the $15 range, rather than 25.

Very good QPR, as it's very similar to the bigger brother Arnione. Dark chocolate, sweet strawberry and still plenty of oak to integrate over time. Full body and medium plus finish.

Quite tasty, but doesn't bring any unique Tuscan notes. Straight Cab and Merlot blend. With eyes closed this could have come from California. Maybe a good taster could differentiate Italian grown Cabernet from Cali, but I doubt I could have. The blend worked quite well with Cab flavor profile of dark red fruit transitioning to lingering Merlot finish. Only wish they had added something to give it Tuscan "terroir". For $25, this was very nice and I would certainly serve it to guests.

Decanted and consumed immediately. Fruit is a bit primary and youthful, and even a touch sweet on both the nose and palate initially. After a couple of hours and by the end of the bottle this starts to develop a little complexity and structure, so I think a few years may bring out some more in this, otherwise currently its a pleasant albeit simple italian quaffer.

This wine surprised me. Tasted like $60+ wine....smooth and refined. Really enjoyed it. Bought it as a everyday wine but its better than that.

Recommended by some dude at Argonaut. Very hot at first, but seems to be blowing off with a little air. Nothing special, pretty average offering.

Very nice Italian Cab/Merlot blend. Good now and should remain so or improve for several more years.

Kind of an all purpose Italian red wine, good for basic pasta or pizza pairing.

showed more complexity and some earthiness relative to the previous bottle, much less primary and fruit driven. Some more time may serve this well...
