Drinking nicely. No decant required - just gave it 15 minutes of air in the glass. Muted nose, nice Napa Cab structure ... dusty tannins, dark fruit, long finish. Delicious on its own and paired well with NY strips. Very enjoyable

Alex's Birthday Party (Yan's China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Nose of black cherry and tobacco, the magnum showed lovely, rich fruit on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, three years from its peak in this format, almost mouth filling fruit, touch simple, and a long finish.

This is open for business with little or no decant and paired very well with a rib steak. Although it is not an overtly complex wine it is a very good full bodied Napa cab that is likely peaking now . I enjoyed it very much .

Decanted for two hours. Restrained and elegant with firm gripping tannins. An excellent wine but is starting to show its age. Would have rated in the lower 90's at an earlier stage.

Very good wine, needs an 1 hr decant at least for full potential. Also a cpl more years of cellar time would def help this wine. I would buy it for $60 tops but not really worth more.

This Solo is in a good place right now. We decanted for about an hour, and the nose was robust and inviting. 1st drink - nice mouthfeel, slightly dry, dark berries, slighted muted. It needed a bit more time, and after 2 hours became delicious, although remained low key. We paired with filet mignon & mushrooms, and it was delightful. Have one left, and will likely drink soon.

Interesting wine. At open, nose was very muted, and really underwhelming. But after a 45 minute decant, it opened up and became much more enjoyable. It remained pretty low key / smooth, and is ready to drink now.

Wound very tight. Decanted for 45 minutes and it could have used longer. Agreed Jennings notes of black fruit, black current. Very little oak in the finish. Paired well with lamb.

Well balanced. Full tannins. Dark berry flavors. Could still cellar at least 5 years.

medium body with dark fruit and a dry and savory component; adequate acidity to hold.
