This is really coming along. Not nearly as much petrol as the German bottles it was next to, but more of the slate and fruit sort of Riesling with hints of petrol from the age. Balanced nicely as well, off-dry.

Certainly developed more aromatics since the first bottle, giving it more interest right out of the gate. Palate hadn't evolved a ton, though, and it came across as a relatively light wine. We'll see how it goes on day 2 and beyond.

Good floral aromas and fruit on the nose. Off-dry style with nice sweetness. Had this with a spicy grilled shrimp in tobasco butter sauce. The acidity and sweetness did a great job in cutting the spice. Perfect match for the meal. Wonderful Riesling.
