Acquired on site between 2007-2010. Part of a tasting “NV with age”. At first to much cellar tones and nailpolish but whit a bit of air a brilliant wine. Seawater and lemonpeel on the nose. Lots of age but still fresh acidity. Vanilla and sherry notes. Quite a few participants had this as the least good wine but just as many as the best one, no one thought it was bad though! Conclusion: Let your NV rest some time in your cellar!

Base 2009. More open and lively than the 2008-base I tasted last year. Will still improve a point or two with cellaring. A great champagne in its price-range as always!

Unknown base but bought at site in 2009 so guessing late 1990/early 2000. Nevertheless, it's brilliant! Cream, grilled lemons, vanilla and saline. Still fresh fruit and acidity. Long aftertaste. These gems will easily keep for a decade.

Base 08/07 disgorged 11/2018. Nose: oxidative with lots of bruised apples, oak, maybe orange peel? Taste: high acidity, tangy mouth grip. Good mousse (perfect on day 2) Fun wine that begs for food. Like a toned down version of Lopez de heredia's whites plus bubbles.

Yet another great showing from this lovely Champagne. Deg. November 2015 (same batch as previous bottles I have drunk) Impression very much similar to last tasting of this. Please see notes from May 27th for details. Perhaps even creamier and even more complex tonight? Will improve further, we are getting there. (91 – 93?)

Another great showing from this wine. Deg. November 2015. Complex nose, a touch on the oxidative style, which I really enjoy. Spicy, some sherry and wet hay, ripe apples, lemons, vanillas spices from the oak, bread and sweet pears. Toasty and creamy palate, vanilla and sweet lemons, baked apples and some sherry and hay-ish tones. Complex and very fine. I like this allot. Will improve. (91 – 92+)

Another excellent bottle of fine Bl. d Bl. (Cramant and Bergère – les – Vertus) from this very likable producer. Disgorged: Nov – 15. 12 months in 225 liter oak barriques, before a minimum of 60 months sur lie in bottle. Dosage: 6 gram. Nose shows signs of oak, with vanilla spices, freshly baked bread, pears and minerals. Palate with some chalk, oak spices, vanilla, apples pie, bread. Good acidity and very fine balance. Became more rich and creamy with air. A typical bottle that will benefit from cellaring. (90 – 92)

En mycket glad överraskning. Otroligt prisvärd champagne. Komplett med hög och fin syra, tydlig frukt och viss brödighet. Hade mycket väl tagit denna för en prestigechampagne.

Degorged November 2015 This is an excellent Champagne, indeed. Very complex and interesting. Nose shows oak and vanilla spices, some grassiness and a touch of nice sherry, minerals, nuts and bread. Palate is equally complex, a quite dense and spicy, full feathered Champagne, with oak and vanilla spices, grass and hay, sweet citrus fruits, baked apples, creamy & nutty, toasted bread and good acidity. Balanced, excellent, intriguing & very promising. Hard to follow after a Krug 1996, but this is indeed a very good Champagne. (90 – 93)

Sort of an old-fashioned style, to me, and a very appealing one. Base 05, from barrel-fermented vins clair, this is a really big wine that feels like it's just starting to integrate. Creamy, with lots of baked apple and baked bread but with an underlying chalkiness from their best Cramant parcels. Serious business.
Degorged November 2015 On the nose, Vanilla, oak, mineral, white flowers, like jasmin. On the palate, nice acidity, vanilla from the oak, fresh with some mineral. Medium + finish
Day 2 more apple tones overall. Perhaps more marzipan on the nose.

Quite intense and even heavy. Ripe Cramant fruit, proper dosage and good overall balance. It has a feel of a small Negotiant Champagne. I would keep newly disgorged bottles for at least couple of years, it is sure to gain from it.

Rounder mouth feel than the regular Brut NV. But a pretty, more refined mouth feel. Somehow more effervescent. A bit more brioche on the nose and palate. Bright acidity. Generally, a touch more refined. Very nice. A-

Clear grape in the taste but with a nice acidity. Full bodied and rich champagne. The finish is nice. After a while in the air a creaminess enters the taste that lifts the wine even more.

Den här cuvéen är en av de mest prisvärda jag känner till. Utmärkt. Nästan bäst i producentens Gamme, enligt mig.
