Absolut geiles Hammerteil - Sangiovese at its best - nicht nur preislich mindestens auf der Höhe des Tig 2007...die 92 PP sind m.E. viel zu tief...den kann man auch noch liegenlassen, am Anfang der Trinkphase

Argiano Tasting: An evening with Hans Vinding-Diers (Esquin Wine, Seattle): 18 months in 100% new French barriques, 100% whole cluster. A very experimental wine. Hans proclaims this as his "baby" from the Argiano portfolio lineup. It's easy as well to see why he is a Francophile making wine in Tuscany. Admittedly, I loved it. It was my WOTN. Tasting this blind, one would be very hard pressed not to pin this wine down as a very fine burgundy. But alas it was Sangiovese.

Beef stock, roast, lovage, quite intense acidity, still very dense and long but the tertiary notes are overtaking slightly. Drink up

Powerful Sangiovese. Well built structure but way to young... Revisit in 2017
