Popped and poured. Dark red/purple almost ink like in the glass. Initially there was certainly some green-ness on the nose and palate, but after a few hours this did dissipate. The alcohol (which I think was 14.5%) was fairly noticeable in terms of heat. A nice drink, just didn't blow my socks off.

Lingon berries and some oak. Still some tannins left. A very typical south african wine.

Nice balance, great structure from the cab franc with juicy fruit from the merlot. Full body and long finish. Paired well with roasted lamb.

White Club @ CLOUDS (Clouds restaurant, Zurich): Turf, leather, forest floor, lots of espresso and vanilla notes, creamy and fairly rich, medium long finish
