Clear golden. Ripe smell, autolysis, brioche, hints of wood and grape must and skin. Bubbles could ideally have been finer, but taste is fairly well balanced albeit a touch too mature and tiny bit too sweet to harmonize ideally. However, the lingering acidity from the chardonnay with the spices from noir and oak accompanies the rest of the palate rather nicely. And compared other similarly priced bubblies, in particular those grown in warmer regions, this is actually pretty decent stuff.

I suppose to stand out from the competition something is necessary, but this club shaped bottle won’t fit any of our racks.
The initial effervescence settles down to a gentle pétillance. Traditional pale golden colour, the nose is a yeasty melon and lemon, which persist to the palate. The flavour is round and firm with a gentle caramel and lightly acidic finish. Altogether an accomplished achievement.
NV, spending 36 months on the lees and traditional dégorgment...

This is a nice easy drinking sparkler for those special occasions. This blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir has tropical fruit aromas and a nice elegant bouquet. It is easy to get mesmerized while staring at the bubbles twinkling and swimming amid the pretty golden hued nectar. The sparkler has both tart and citrus fruit flavors that are noticeable, but also a soft and clean to crisp finish all in one sip. It's not too dry, nor too sweet. So we find it very versatile and amazing! You really can't go wrong with this one as it is suitable to pair with a multitude of items, and is also wonderful to enjoy on its own. Of course, the bad part about popping a bottle of bubbly is that the corks expand once opened and you cannot recap. So, as we were saying, the bad part is that you need to enjoy it once opened. Which we don't necessarily have any objections to, so it might be an excuse to sit and enjoy the bottle with company. Which may not be a bad idea to someone who enjoys their bubbly and sharing a lovely bottle with others! Have fun and enjoy.

Pale gold, apple & light bready notes on the nose. The palate is really soft and creamy to start with but then gives way to a clean, litfed fresh apple finish with a hint of cloves. Very good, easy drinking sparkler.

Very well made to copy Champagne as closely as possible using Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes and bottle fermentation. Moderate complexity, crisp and dry but not austere. Will not disappoint, especially at $15.

Dyp strågul farge. Lukt og smak av modne epler og pærer, med noe autolysenoter. Litt bitter i utgangen.

A curious melons and cucumber nose. Fairly simple.
