This 12 year old Burgundy was so fresh. It would probably be very drinkable for several more years. Too bad that this is my last bottle. A hint of cherry on the nose. Medium tannins. The finish was medium. This wine was so lush and enjoyable.

Delicious strawberries and tart cherries, a bit of burgundy funk, black tea, dried roses. Acid is high. The structure in this wine is beautiful and it still has at least 5-10 years ahead of it. 4 bottles left in the cellar. In it for the long haul

Really wonderful wine! Very meaty almost like Syrah on the nose but of course still very red fruted and elegant. Still young with only few signs of age

A beautiful Burgundy. Ruby with a tinge of garnet. With some air, raspberries and spices and undergrowth on the nose. Lovely mid-bodied experience on the palate, with juicy freshness and sweet fruit balanced with perfect acidity and soft tannins. Drinking now, and for the next 5-7 years.

Still very young and a bit fragile. Almost delicate mouthfeel with a dusty ruby color. Showed more body and some of the terroir as it opened up. Should be quite good with more time but it needs it. Was glad to see it at this age to benchmark its development.

Medium garnet color. Medium body. Richer and denser than the Craipillot, with black fruits and plenty of earthy spices. Fifteen minutes of air in the glass is all it needed to unfold nicely. This strikes me as more of a "typical" Gevrey, masculine and brawny. Superb wine.

Still in good shape. Has lost very little since my last bottle in 2020.

A beautiful Burgundy. Decanted for about a half hour. A great complement to our steak diane dinner.

Great great wine but so young! Red dusty berries, juice, minerals! Will shine in time!

I like this wine. It has an earthy tone with a great structure and velvety finish. Red and blue fruit and great acidity. Very nice.
