  • If it was half as sweet, it would be twice as good.

  • Nice easy drinking red. Lots of fruit a smooth sweetness. Not very complex but this was pleasant surprise when we just looking for something enjoyable to drink. This would be a great introductory wine for people who don't like dry wines. My notes are showing that this was $11, which is the top dollar I would pay for it. I believe I have seen it locally for 8 or 9, which seems about right to me.

  • It addition to previous note: this makes a wonderful mulled wine for the holidays! Try it with your favorite mulling spices. The scent fills the house like potpourri. Fantastic!

  • Dark purple color. Smells like a syrah with no hint of sweetness on the nose. It actually has a decent medium body with black fruit and pepper up front. Tannins are mellow for a syrah and the sweetness comes in early and lingers through the finish. Fortunately, it's not overly/cloyingly sweet. I wouldn't call it a dessert wine per se but it's a bit unexpected when your brain is tuned for syrah. Interesting stuff even though it suffers from a slight identity crisis. Nothing else quite like it out there though. I gave it a try thinking it would make an approachable red for non-wine folks and it doesn't disappoint there. I think anybody could drink this stuff and enjoy it. Seems to balance a little better after an hour decant or on day two.

  • Dark purple with a sweet grape nose, grape jam and grape jelly, and a whack of blackberry. Refreshing chilled beverage that would be great on a hot day. Very juicy blackberry flavors. Smooth. Would go great with spicy food. Serving with stuffed cabbage. Great to have on hand for those who can not enjoy a dry wine.
