  • Definitely deserves to be at or above that '90' psychological mark that tells us it is likely going to be pallatable-- this was crisp, served with a light salad course, snappy; complex enough to keep you interested.

  • Intense aromatics with good complexity coming through on the nose. Vanilla and honeycomb intermingle with white flowers, lemon grass and a faint hint of petrol. The use of oak in this wine lends to its weight and texture on the palate. I believe previous vintages were aged in stainless steel. Acidity is medium and in a good place right now. There is a bit of heat coming through although I think this vintage has lower alcohol than previous years at 14.1%. I remember these being 15+ before. Overall the wine has great complexity and balance as I've come to expect year to year. This 50/50 (Malvasia/Chardonnay) blend was a great idea. It displays the best of both varietals.

  • Wonderful notes of honeydew and hints of cantaloupe. Went fantastically well with a bruschetta and cheese stuffed chicken breast dinner! Slight green hint, very intriguing. Sediment (potassium bitartrate aka cream of tartar) was really neat to see in a white wine. Absolutely delicious; ordering another bottle now. Half of note was with Megan's gracious assistance and input.
