An excellent wine. My last of six bottles - and one of my favorite spring / summer sippers. Pretty salmon color, can be a little cloudy (sediment) if one does not stand the bottle or decant gently. Aromas of citrus and strawberry. The taste profile is similar - light strawberry, citrus with an herbal element. Nice acidic frame.

Crushed seashells and watermelon on the nose, with hints of celery and cherry, and rhubarb pie at the end. Great acidity on the palate, with stone and rhubarb, some watermelon on the mid-palate, and a nice green vegetable finish.

Even better than the last bottle. Crisp, refreshing, watermelon, star fruit, rhubarb, slate, underripe strawberries. Touch of celery. Lots of minerals, salinity and tart cherry on the palate. Throwing off some serious precipitate in the bottle...downright cloudy. Wonderful complement to steamed sole stuffed with mango/ginger/chives. Really delicious.

Tasting with Pax Mahle (Domaine Wine Storage): Loved this orange wine. Exotic nose of raspberry, herbs, stone, and peach. The palate was incredibly silky with some peach, mango, and exotic herbal and spice notes. Just a lovely wine and another reason why orange wines are so damn cool.

LOVE this wine. Slightly underripe Crenshaw melon, rhubarb, chalk dust, sea air. Palate is light, with provençal herbs, white strawberry and bright acids. Wonderful with food (we served it with sesame encrusted ahi tuna steaks). In fact, the wine has a way of not only complementing but enhancing the food with which it is served and vice versa. Great change up from the usual choices but much better with food than by itself.

Tenzing Portfolio Tasting (Tenzing - Chicago, IL): Gorgeous orange flavors. Cantaloupe, fresh sea breeze, refreshing. Very light. A touch bitter on the back end - tea tannins. Loved it.

Goes perfect with Green Eggs and Ham ;-) In other words, yes, the Oragne is different.
Letting this one sit open and warm up is highly recommended. Drink it with others and you'll definitely have something to talk about. Very nice.

Just received my shipment. Wine is a brownish color - much like in the movie bottle shock. I am going to put it down for a few weeks and monitor it.
Followup - Actually, their tasting notes read the wine is orange (given the green bottle, the appearance is brown). Cannot wait to try.
