Touch of sulfur on the nose along with lush, zesty red berry fruit. Kirsch, raspberry and white pepper and spice. Fresh, youthful and vibrant on the palate. It's showing very young aspects of all 3 varietals. Vivid acid. Sweet red berry fruit, herbal spice, blackberry and black cherry. Raspberry and a touch of cocoa. Has even an elderflower quality. Cedar notes. Simple and easy drinking.

Another night of pulled pork sammiches, so break this out again. An interesting combination of cotton candy and green pepper on the nose. On the palate it's mostly just fruit.

Good, not great. Massive fruit, the syrah is very powerful. Served a bit below cellar temp and the wine improved greatly as it warmed. Match with shell fish or cheeseburgers for a great summer afternoon.

came with a good recommendation - as being all fruit ...well ..this is bottle #1 ...hmm ... lets see what the next two do ... unimpressed .... keep thinking the Zin is overpowering the others ?

Per the label, this is 50% Syrah, 22% Zinfandel, 28% Pinot Noir. Vinturi'd and decanted. Very good accompaniment to pulled pork sandwiches. Getting the Syrah mostly on the nose ... on the palate, seems like I'm getting more of the PN. I just generally like it.

Aroma - cherry and plum. Tastes are cherry, plum, smooth - chewy and delicious. Went well with pasta. Very drinkable.

Mellow but slightly syrah sweet. Nice blend even though I don't particularly like syrah or zinfandel by themselves.

The label and cork were more entertaining than the wine.
