Very nice translucent cherry red color, light Burgundian style. Earthy with red cherry, vanilla, and red berry aromas and flavors. Definitely displays the Williamette Valley terroir. Nice mouthfeel and long finish. Great with food.

These folks have a big following, make some pretty cool stuff and certainly know how to throw together a decent Pinot in a difficult year like 2010, BUT.....
So this is decent. Ok. But just because it was very difficult year doesn't make this better than it is. This is their entry level (cheapest) Pinot and I suppose its a decent value in that sense. Its light, recognizable as a Pinot, avoids the sweet candy of cheap Californian versions, a nice dash of acids and modest fruit.
But lets not get carried away folks. It is what it is. Its a table wine.

Tart raspberry and pepper flavors on the front and a short earthy finish. Although a decent value at the restaurant at which we were served, and solid with duck breast, pork and pasta, no one at the table was overwhelmed.

Really very good, and fairly priced in the mid 20's. Was even better on the second day.
