Still some fruit. Very nicely balanced. Hard to believe it is anywhere nears its actual age. earthiness to the nose with perhaps a touch of cola. Happy to drink again if I only had another bottle. medium length but very nice finish with a trace of tannin remaining.

Blind Tasting 1968-79 Ridge Geyservilles (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Nose started reticent then opened to show cinnamon and cherry. Light to medium bodied with medium acidity. Cherry and raspberry fruit, bit of black tea. (my 7th, group's 6th)
