Quite Nice nose with mocha, tobacco, earthyness and mushroom. Unfortunately, the taste could not live up to the nose. probably indicate that this should have been consumed 2-4 years ago. However, still a decent bottle.

Nose of black berries & dark cassis fruit. Rounded tannins, fresh and splendid vigour that carries the wine with French duck with pepper & salt. Taste is smooth with dark berries & mint. Perfect drinking window now and patience rewards. 90 pts.

Coravin'ed. Dark rubis colour. On the nose, it is clearly of the Cos d'Estournel family. Open! Aromas of dark fruit with metallic overtones, coffee, slightly toasted bread and menthol. On the palate, the attack is frank but ripe with the same aromas as on the nose. Good length et fruit and coffee. Good balance, can be drunk now.
Coravin'ed. Belle robe rubis noir. 89
The people at Cos d'Estournel Goulee keep on rolling out the winners with this blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Its voluptuous, slightly soft yet full-bodied and offers a nose and palate of coffee, dark fruits and liquorice. Shockingly drinking well now, but will continue to get better for decades to come. Please we have several more bottles in the cellar.

Dark fruits, tabacco and minty nose. Palate is peppery and spice. There is some slight sweetness on the mid palate. The finish is rather hot, with notes of peppermint and some bitterness.

Very strong, solid Bordeaux classic. Oak a bit dominant in the nose. Still to keep some years more

Plum, blueberry, vulgar oak (uncomfortable). Medium bodied, slightly unbalanced, but apreciable wine. 87

Medium bodied, and easy to like, the black cherry notes and forward, soft, round textures make this an easy wine to taste.
