Rich golden colour, honey and perhaps kiwi fruit / pineapple on the nose. Quite sweet but with good balancing acidy, almost like a liquid tart tatin and mostly fine as an apéritif. Un-exceptional but cheap and an interesting drink WoFW 12/20

Ripe, thick, soft and a bit flabby. Nice enough, but a bit like Del-Monte fruit cocktail syrup. Although thick and ripe, this paradoxically has a green under-ripe edge to it.

I was very disappointed. Soft, flat and simple "apple juice" type of wine. Lacking in acidity and character. Not horrible, but disappointing, even at the discounted $9 price tag.

I agree with the other reviewers' comments. I liked this better than the auslese version of this wine, which was too a little to sweet for dinner. This was just sweet enough to be acceptable to my Russian friends (who typically love sweet wines) but not to sweet to not go with sea scallops.

This was one of our Thanksgiving wines. Went well with everything. Good fruit on the nose with grapefruit and some apple taste. Balanced enough for everyone to enjoy. Just a bit of sugar on the tongue.

Closed with a crown cap! (hidden under a squared-off plastic cap that makes it look like it a normal cork closure)... Regardless, of how long this wine is expected to last, or who it is supposed or not supposed to impress, it is a very ripe yet refreshing riesling with only 9.5% alcohol, good acidity and nice citrusy grapefruit flavors. It appears to have a bit of residual sugar on the finish. It is a great quaffer to go with spicy food.
