Very nice! Intense but not overbearing cherry-raspberry flavor with just the right amount of acid and residual sugar and soft tannins. Glycerin takes a long time to drip down the glass. Perfect age at 10 years. Great to sip on its own or with food. A crowd pleaser as well as a wine for some serious personal enjoyment. Getting more, although only later years are available now. 2012 is supposed to be even better.

The color is see-through garnet and ruby to the edge. The smells are earth, cherry, cinnamon and floral notes with faint spices. The smell seems a bit muted for the varietal. The taste is cherry, black olive, spices, earth, and cola. The taste lingers for a while and the tannins are dusty like flour and light and integrated. There is a little heat on the finish as well. This is a nice wine with light texture and evolves nicely over time.

Drinking well now. The nose has cherry-cola and spice. The taste is all Pinot with cherry and strawberrry and it finishes with a good dose of earth and acid/tannin. Great food wine.

PnP. Bright red berries, tart cherries, cola, green olives, mushrooms on the nose. There's a good amount of tart cherry, raspberry, minerality and spice on the palate, balanced by ample acidity. Finish is long and elegant. Should continue to evolve over the next couple years. Very nice Burgundian style wine.

Much better than at the tasting, possibly because I decanted it for a while. Rich, open, with great pinot fruit. Vibrant, but not over-heavy or dark, but with good rich red fruits. Decent acid to back it up. Great drinking now.

Not my favorite Pinot. Some red fruit, but dominated by a mineral flavor, which would be better if it wasn't a wine with a short finish. Notes of cherry and charcoal, but dominated by charcoal. There are many better Pinots out there, and while this one isn't bad, it wouldn't be a repeat purchase for me.

Tghter than the Carneros PN, with more acid and minerality. Probably needs more decanting / years in bottle. Surprised, as I expected it to be more open than the Carneros.

EXCELLENT Pinot. Aged in a Eurocave from purchase in 12/11 to now, 2/13. Soft, perfect with heavily smoked chicken. Everything a Pinot should be.

Dark brick. Foresty black cherry over charcoal on the nose & in the flavors that are smoky & finish with a nice acid/tannin balance. OK.
