This needed an hour in the glass to mellow out - it was originally quite hot and thin and oaky. But it did smooth out considerably. Aging fast - garnet color, and minimal fruit showing. Menthol, some funky earthy notes, licorice, bramble, smoke, oak, eventually some raspberry. Nice body and texture.

Some new oak coming through on nose, maybe a touch too much for my taste, but perhaps a couple more years will help it integrate further...clean and structured...fairly restrained, but bright fruit...
