Still a reasonably dark garnet given the age. No bricking evident. Violets with some earth and berries on the nose. Smooth on the palette with well balanced acidity and dark fruits. Still drinking very well. Can go longer if you like, but very nice now. Can also stand up to some food, but nothing overly strong, i.e. probably not great with lamb, but will pair well with a simple rib eye.

Bought directly from the winery on a visit to Sonoma. Opened with dinner at Perbacco in San Francisco. On the nose very much alive with scents of dried mossy flower petals. On the palate, fruit was muted initially but opened up with some air. Red fruit with bright acidity. A bit spritzzy at first but it dissipated quickly. Tannings very much on the backfoot but still there. I think its spot on its drinking window. Loved the wine.

Very nice nose with great depth of fruit. Palate doesn't quite live up to the promise of the nose. Quite acidic, without enough fruit to balance it out.

Great Pinot - like old WS. Truffle, muchroom and earth on nose and pallet with sweet berry & cherry pallet. Moderately long pallet. Drinking perfectly.

Lots of VA. Some earth, mushrooms, and tart red fruit. Had clearly seen better days. No real pleasure to it.

Not great, but certainly a nicely balanced and drinkable PN. Nose showed more than the palate. Maybe this one has seen better days.

Sweet cherries, blackberry, cola, with good balance and structure, medium finish. Food friendly. 89-91

losing its body; sweet cherry, light flavors although it still has a decent finish

Weird at first. Very sweet, like stewed/dried fruit. Got a little better after couple hours. Not bad in the end.
