Pale Ruby/Garnet with medium, plus developed aromas of cherry, cranberry, Plum, herbs, Anise. The Anise and plum are quite pronounced and add a different dimension to this Pinot. This wine has high alcohol, medium, plus acidity, medium plus body and medium tannins. This wine has medium plus intensity, developed flavors of cranberry, cherry, plum, Burnt wood, Annise, herbs, spice and Nutmeg. This wine has a long finish. It is a very good wine that should be drunk now and within the next three years, to 2026.

Popped and poured, and then tasted a couple pours non-blind over approx. 1 to 1.5 hours.
Quite rich and plush. Acidity is medium low. Rich, ripe, red-fruited aromas. Came across as relaxed, but seemingly still quite youthful. There was a slight funky note, and I couldn't decide if it was something tertiary or a little hint of brett. Although this is undeniably a large-scaled wine, it seemed to be well-balanced, and for that reason it wouldn't surprise me to see this continue along a favorable ageing path.

Decanted 2 hours and tasted alongside Martinelli blue slide ridge pinot and Thomas Fogarty pinot. Expressive and powerful nose of plum and cherries. Soft and round mouthfeel, velvet tannins and rich fruit core of dark berries. Drinks more like a Zinfandel. Amazing wine that has to be at its peak

A little tight on opening and seemed to blow off some alcohol on the nose. I think this might benefit from either a little more cellaring or decanting for 30 - 60 minutes.

Birthday Celebration (Abigail's American Bistro - Highland Park IL): Blueberry compote to me with lots of sweet baking spice. Fun in its own way, just not something I would seek out. Others liked this quite a bit tonight, but they like wine stylistically different from what I mostly prefer.

This is an outstanding wine from an outstanding producer. This has all the power of a great Cali Pinot yet all the elegance of a wonderful Burgundy. Great stuff.

If you've got this in your cellar and it's been stored correctly, now is the time to drink up. Really incredible.

PnP. Medium deep red. Lovely nose and flavors of berry compote - very RRV Pinot. Fades a bit with air. Drink up.

Dark color, good nose, light on the palate, more age? Good finish.

High acid on this. A bit less soft and fruit forward than other Rochiolis. Some red fruit and spice. May have benefited from a decant.

Beautiful ripe dark ed cherry, floral, and cedar notes on the expressive nose and silky layered palate with a long finish.

Deep dense color, good dark berry flavor, good plate feel and great with Swordfish.

Delightful today with a very primary nose of red and blue fruit. Great texture and supple with very fine grained tannins.

Stunning balanced wine. Concentrated fruit - nice level of acidity and tannin. Smooth lingering finish.
