  • Still very good Malbec, with Picanha steak

  • Two hour decant, a very dark poor with long, slow moving legs. The bouquet is hot and filled with black berry and dark currants. On the tongue the tannins are muscular and the acidity is on the bold side, they complement each other fairly well. The fruit is a little difficult to pick up but as the air worked on it in the glass it opened up. The finish is very long due to the tannins. The longer the decant the better for this one, it needs time to let go of the heat and for the tannins to fade to a more balanced level.

  • Deep, dark and opaque almost black core with dark red hues on the rim. Glass staining and showing high concentration. Viscosity appears moderate/moderate+ and soft reflections.
2+ hours of air time reveals complex, moderate+ intensity aromas of dense plum baked blackberries, baking spices of cinnamon, allspice and clove, blueberries, sandalwood, lavender, violets, black licorice, vanilla, hot stone/gravel and mocha.
The very supple palate enters with velvety texture and complex, balanced flavors of plum, blueberry, blackberry, cinnamon, chocolate ganache, vanilla, violets, lavender, black licorice, allspice and clove. Extracted and dense, but balanced. acidity, alcohol and tannins are all moderate/ Moderate plus the finish is intense and unending letting the spice and licorice notes linger.
    Very Darioush!

  • A nice, big, well-balanced Malbec. Loads of fruit, and fairly big round tannin.

  • Thought it was a bad bottle upon opening, let it air out a bit and it became a decent but light malbec with a slightly metallic taste to it...

  • Best wine of the night from a night of Argentine wine that included Archaval-Ferrer finca malbec and Luca Malbec Nico. Excellent Malbec, that I believe is worth the price.
