Dark transparent red. Delicate nose, dark fruit and spices. In the mouth fresh red fruit and well balanced taste with spices and integrated mature oak.The wine is mature now, well structured and can be drunk with pleasure for at least 5 more years, medum to full bodied, really shining now. A super match with light to medium rich meat. A great wine in memory of Lucio Mastroberardino, who we all lost much too eary. A wonderful wine with potential!

This is drinking very well and has benefitted from a couple more years of bottle aging. The nose is clean and medium (+) to pronounced, with dried plum, sweet baking spices, tobacco leaf and smoke. The palate is dry, consistent with the nose, with medium acidity, tannin and alcohol. It is drinking very well now, and is approachable for a Taurasi. It has several more years left to go. A great effort and a great value.

Fully bodied with good integration. An unusual flavor profile for those interested in trying something new that will stand up to a cab lovers palate, but show case Italian stylings. PDQ91+

All about rock and flowers, with fruit as an afterthought. Which is fine though, with place being expressed so clearly. The downside is this place is so far removed from any dish I really cook, sans hearty red sauce meat stew? A wine that stands apart, indifferent.

Dark garnet/ruby color. Jumps out of the glass with notes of cedar wood, plum, sweet spices (cinnamon), tobacco, wet stone/volcanic soil, ash/smoke. On the palate, there is plenty of minerality again (lavastone, ash), plum fruit , tobacco and smoke as well as sweet spices. Medium-full body with medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Long finish. This is a very beautiful and already surprisingly accessible Taurasi from one of the top producers. It’s not a monster of a wine for Taurasi, but it bursts with personality. And it’s an amazing value too.

Lika gott som sist. Fin körsbärsfrukt och en en sträv te känsla som tanninerna bidrar med. Bra motstånd så är bäst till mat men det är gott på egen hand särsilt när det kommer upp o temperatur lite och frukten blir lite varmare.

This is a great Italian Aglianico. Opened up quickly with red berries with a touch of leather and oak. M++ acids, M+ body and M+ drying tannins ending with a small bitterness. Great with food. W/TS in Stockholm. Had immediately.
En väldigt italiensk doft med körsbär, både lite sura och mer mogna. Lite fattoner men på ett väldigt återhållet sätt. Ett fint djup i smaken med mer körsbär, svart te och lite fat. Allt är ganska knutet från start och dag två är vinet mer harmoniskt med mer rödfruktighet. Väldigt gott rakt igenom.

Mature plums, raspberry and vanilla on the nose, nice fruit. Hefty taste with fresh tannins, liquorice and blackcurrant. A touch of smoke in the aftertaste. Looses a bit of power after a few hours.
