The wine looks straw colored. It smells like lemon, lime, apricot and pear. It tastes like apricot, apple, peach, lemon, lime and almond. The body is light/medium. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

Peter Bothe's 41st Birthday (Boneyard Bistro): Drinking wonderfully right now. Really gorgeous and balanced. Drank from a magnum and every glass got better over time, especially the last sips after a couple hours of air and getting closer to room temp.

Ce vin est un homme.D'une puissance étonnante.Pas mal mieux que les mains moites de Trudeau. Genre de vin que même une pub de Ford n'est pas capable de sacrer à terre. Beaucoup d'élevage ,du bois qui n'est pas encore bien assimilé comparé avec le Rougeard (après 1h par contre il commence doucement à se développer). Une charpente solide et fait pour vieillir quelques années sans problème.Une bonne acidité vive .Un peu de sueur en bouche aussi...p-ê moi qui avait chaud. Sec à l'extrême, je bavais comme un crapaud galleux à chaque gorgée. J'aime :) 90+

Classy and elusive nose, similar to a high quality burgundy, that keeps you coming back for more. This has lots of bees wax, lillies, vanilla, a touch of honey and some citrusy notes. The overall package is extremely elegant. Could do with a few more years, but drinking well now.

Drinking on the train (first class) from Geneva to Zurich.
This is very nice mineral and many detail inside. Hints of tropical fruits, charming nose. Less acidity due to the vintage that makes it round and delicious with a good finished.
Should get a higher score in the future. Great Chenin Blanc, great terroir, this must be a very good bottle in next 20 years.
I have only 1 Magnum and 1 normal bottle left.
Should buy a case.
Drink now - 2035+.............92-94+/100................

More Chenin on steroids, with new oak. Big, heavy Chenin fruit...violet, golden raisins, but a freshness goes quite a long way in making this wine quite alluring. Goodness, had I known it had so much new oak I'd've waited maybe two or three years. But then if it didn't have this sense of freshness I wouldn't have liked it.

Nez encore sur le bois, vanille noix de coco, caramel avec un tout petit peu de fruit derrière. Après 4 jours au frigo , à demi pleine, le fruit est revenu un peu (pomme verte) La bouche est riche tout en étant tendue ; lensemble manque encore un peu d’harmonie, à attendre 4 ou 5 ans.

2013 editon of En Primeur - Kelly and Kevin’s excellent adventure; 3/26/2014-4/1/2014 (Mostly in Bordeaux and a night in Paris): Tropical fruits, pineapple, lanoline, pine needle and mineral. Excellent concentration, bright acidity, strong presence of mineral and long finish.
