  • Who doesn't love rum?

But this is just ok. And not something id have again.

Rather astringent and linear across the palate. Where's the sugary piratey caressing heaven you want in a holiday rum? Not here.

  • Nose: This one comes across as a cool liquid, odd as it sounds, but it's rather bourbony. Maple, vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate malt (ok, so that's not too boubony), and all spice. The vanilla verges on bananas, but comes back to vanilla extract and marzipan. Win. All light flavors, and very elegant.

Palate: Honey, vanilla, banana, apple juice and pecan pie. Or at least just the filling (isn't that the best part?). Delicious stuff and worth sipping. Maybe a few drops of coffee, too, but it's well spiced without being too sweet or too harshly dark.

Finish: More coffee, caramel, and pecan pie filling. I really enjoyed this, and it was one of the best samples that I've had so far.
