Wow has this wine mellowed! A nice brick red with medium viscosity. The signature Tasi ripe plums with stewed tomato nose, very jammy. I'm getting big mature fruit in the midpalate: cooked blackberry, strawberry, peppered blueberry. Very well-balanced with a pleasant lingering aftertaste. This wine is far better today than it was even a year ago. The tannins, acid and fruit have combined to create a very passable Merlot indeed, at an exceptional value!

While this wine isn't amazing or anything, pop-n-pour is pretty good. I'm wondering based on other reviews if this will fade fast while I drink it, but right now it's a nice mellow Merlot. I concur completely that this would make a great Sangria base and will be doing so tomorrow. :)

After trying this through the years after buying it, it has not gotten any better. This is straight up not a good wine and has now been deemed for sangria use for the remaining bottles.

Purchased a case of this wine from Woot.com. Came appropriately chilled. Reviews were decent and I have had 3 bottles so far, all of which I can say were inferior to the poorest home made swill I have had. Drinkable? Barely. I choked down the last schluks because I'm a cheap Mennonite but I should have drained the entire bottle into the sink (not sure if it would wreck the septic field). Making sangria from the rest of the case. The wine looks Purple colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like and Black Pepper. It tastes like and Black Pepper. The body is Light/Medium. The wine has Linear texture. The wine finishes Short.

very nice easy drinking light Merlot. A bit lacking in body, but great qpr. Plum and black cherry on the nose, black cherry and currant on the palette.

A light easy to drink Merlot, perfect for when you want a tasty glass of wine without the guilt of opening a bottle and only having one glass. Stored with vacuvin and was as good, if not better the 2nd day. As SH would say, it really spoke to me. Unfortunately it speaks a different language than I do. Glad I bought a case and even bought a second as a gift for my parents.

It's not a good Merlot, honestly. Though, drinkable...It tastes like sweet raisins, with a slightly tart and acidic finish.

nose: cherry, not jammy, some spice or tobacco; smooth, simple, everyday table wine; very pleased with QPR at woot price

Decanted and aerated, then let sit for about 20 minutes. Pretty smooth, better with food.
