So rich and smooth. Popped and poured. Fantastic nose and taste out of the bottle and it just got better over the next 90 minutes. Great wine and best label around.

I let it breathe for 2 hours and drank over 3 (half bottle). The tannins and midly chewy and sour but fine. The fruit is ripe and pure with dark plum notes. A juicy finish. I can see some finding the wine a bit too sour. But I like that.

Similar note to before. Warm red fruit centric with loads of baking spice on the finish. Bitter tannins on the finish but overall structure seems to be fading/softening. Ultra ripe/sweet and almost identical to the Hundred Acre wines I’ve had from these years. Like just passing the peak.

Decanted for one hour. Still a lot of structure but all elements seem to be fully integrated with only some tightness on the finish. Sweet raspberry, vanilla, oak, tobacco, and milk chocolate. Has plenty of years left but really enjoyable now.

Popped 1 st of 12. Decanted 90 minutes. Minimal sediment great bouquet upon opening. Long legged cab that just felt good in the mouth and went down as smooth as glass. Deep and rich. Variety of chocolate and earthy flavor. No rush to drink remaining stash

Deep purple color with a red cassis bouquet and flavor, integrated with vanilla oak. Very good balance with nice definition and a seamless mouth feel. Super wine. Much more likely to find such a wine among the best Califonia wineries than in the Bordeaux sea, and you won't have to stop buying it at age 65.

Deep purple color with a bouquet and flavor of sweet oak and fruit, although not cassis. Very good balance with a silky feel in the mouth, despite being a big wine. Considerable finesse with a long finish. This is a keeper. You will look a long time to find a Bordeaux of this quality, and will pay dearly for it.

If you like fruit and lush mouthfeel, this is right up your alley. I normally like a bit more tannin and oak, but this still hits the spot. Luxurious wine that punches above its price point.

A fantastic wine. PnP over a couple of hours. Opens up to deep, rich fruits, dark chocolate, smooth as silk, lasting finish. A shame the price has gone to $200 because this was incredible in the $80 range.

This wine is really nice!!! In fact, it is a wonderful way to taste the mastery of Jayson Woodbridge at a lower price! The wine was a beautiful garnet color. Its legs are medium with no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) on the nose. It juicy with flavors that include plums mocha and spices. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium.

Decanted for around an hour. I think it could have used more. My initial reaction was wow is this thick and dense. Dark fruit hits you. 91-92 on this night but with much more potential with age and/or air.

Right up there with other Hundred Acre Cabs, at a much lower price point. Rich and silky with distinct mocha on the nose. Needs a good decant. At least a decade ahead of it, but drinking nicely now.

Beautiful, restrained Cab featuring blue and black fruit with a hint of menthol on the nose, dark fruits on the palate. Well integrated silky tannins with a long finish. I felt very fortunate to drink my first ever Fortunate Son!

This was really good. The nose is full of black cherry and marzipan. Very fresh and lively on the palate with lots of black cherry. Velvety texture with a long finish.

Dusty fruit. A little chocolate. The palate is full and mouth coating with beef, baking spices and solid tannins. Delicious but young.

This was big, in your face hedonistic cab. A bit syrupy but surely a fun wine to drink. Has a ton of time left on it.
