  • Pours bright white gold with noticeable density due to r/s. On the nose shines very elegant and defined with characters of lemon blossom, magnolia, meyer lemon, golden apple and ripe apricot. There is also a classic developed feeling of burnt rubber and a clean tone of polished granite and talc powder. The texture is rich but lifted promptly on the tongue by a beautiful line of acidity. Overall the balance between residual sugar, ripeness, acid and minerality is marvellous and highlights how this wine is sitting on its plateau now. Flavors of ripe lemon, cruncy apple and apricot fading close to the tropical pineapple all framed in stunning symphony by acids and texture. It all sits for long on the palate carried on more by the cruncy acidity than the textural sugars. At the end of the line there are feelings of acacia honey and chamomile. This is a work of art showing again how good Australian Riesling can be in the right hands!

  • Fine example of this style. Minerally and sweet.

  • Wow - this is one of the best white wines I have tried this year. Absolutely sublime with a fabulous concentrated nose of fruit that expands out to a bright, steely mineral with juicy limes. The palette has an impossible-to-fake oily texture with ripe citrus, peach and one of the most impressive acid/mineral balancing acts you'll ever see in an Australian Riesling. Spectacular.
