Lightly petillant. Interesting wine with aromatic sense of apples and sweetness but then a quite dry, very mineral palate. Good and refreshing. This apparently has 2012 fruit and is much more successful than the cuvee tried in 2012.

Tasty golden apple and white peach with an herbaceous streak and a bit of minerality, just off dry with good acidity and balance, good on its own and with food, nice bubbly.

The palate starts peachy before showing racy apples and preserved lemons with a herbaceous edge on the finish. Buttery, broad, very tasty but richness checked well by chunky acid. Also a nice iodine note on the mid-palate. This is a hell of a lot of fizz for the money (£13), and has so much character that I am even prepared to forgive the beer bottle top. So much better than their rosé.

Light yellow with some amber, fine bubbles. A strange aromatic topnote that is difficult to identify at first but evolves into profound earthiness. Medium weight, crabapple fruit, slight residual sugar, and then the not completely clean soil tones are reprised in the finish, imparting a certain harshness. Curious and not for me. This seems like another natural wine misadventure.

Green apple. Balanced, and way better than their rose indeed. Tasting note of Will Davies nailed it
