MUCH better than the first bottle. Medium briary fruit with light-medium oak, First taste was quite good but it went downhill from there. Not a bad wine, just not a really good wine

This bottle was just not up to my expectations. It began with an off-gamey taste and then followed with a thin body and an acceptable dry and fruity finish. The wine was drinkable but just not well put together. One could readily tell it was a Zin, but a mediocre one at best. For the price it should have been a shiningly nice and solid Zin; but alas!!

Parducci Tasting (Ukiah, CA): Lots of stuff going on aromatically: a burst of wild strawberry and blackberry, mocha, pepper and an aroma that reminds me of dried hay or a briar patch or something. Anyway, it smells good. Loads of plums on the palate, a bit raisined perhaps, but not too much. Creamy tannins and medium acid come together to make this easy to sip and enjoy. Big, but not too overbearing.

Certified Organic winery, estate fruit. This Zin is what you expect, not complex on the nose, but palette of strong pepper and raspberry. Finish is longer than expected.

Mörka bär och kryddor. Korrekt och inget obehagligt men också mycket ordinärt och slätstruket.

Attractive, mid-garnet in glass, dark berry nose, medium bodied, enjoyable mouthful

bright fruit, nice round edges, lacks depth and complexity to some regard but solid
