{cork, 13%} I could never get past an all-pervading musty cardboard smell on the nose of this, and a little less on the palate. There was some rustic liquorice and chocolate scented fruit, very soft tannins and moderate acid, but I could never conjure any kind of finish out of this. I'm pretty certain a second bottle would have proven this was mildly TCA-tainted.

A bright well balanced wine with interesting flavours of raspberry and tea all backed up by a dose of acidity providing freshness. Not what I was expecting but an enjoyable wine.
