Loved it... last of 6 bottles, and all were great. Dark red fruits, deep dark garnet color, well integrated tannins. Wish I could’ve drank this over the course of a few nights, but once it was opened, it was gone.

Drank over two nights... First night it was a little tannic and oaky. Big dark red fruits and a long finish. Second night, much better, softer mouthfeel and darker fruit.

Vinturi into decanter waited two hours. I was expecting young harsher tannins than I experienced. this is a nice big wine that was even better the second day. I hope I can save at least half the case for a few years to really be rewarded.

decanted for an hour, very nice components, lots going on here, but needs some time to integrate. notes of cassis, cherry, graphite, cedar, oak. I wish there was more, but its all sold out.

If you're drinking this before 2015, you're too soon. As of this writing (Dec 2012), this needs to be decanted 2 hours, or even better decant a couple of hours and pour it back in the bottle, cork it and come back tomorrow. You'll be rewarded with a very full bodied, almost chewy wine, with intense black plum and other dark fruit on the nose, along with some chocolate and spice. I call this a "back of the tongue" wine, because all the impact is in the sour and bitter receptors. Mid-palate is strong dark fruit, more plums and stewed blackberries, with an earthy and chocolaty note. Right now the tannins are quite harsh but should integrate better over a few years. Extremely long tannic finish leaving more plum flavor. At this price point I'm tempted to buy a case and stick it in the cellar for 6-8 years.

Decanted for one hour... Still felt like a very young wine. Poured it back in the bottle and waited a day. BIG difference. A very good cab that has long term potential so we may be buying more.

Cameron Hughes suggests comparing this wine to $125 cabs.......it is certainly not in this class.

Great mountian fruit here, big. Got to decant for at least an hour. This will get better.
