Golden, rich. Plenty of minerals, citrus-notes, buttery Puligny-like in itøs richness. Drinking a point, but in no way declining, AD loved this, as did I.

PnP. Medium gold. Nose of citrus and a hint of exotic fruits. A bit round on the palate with good finishing acidity. Would not have picked this as Chablis as the richness of the fruit, although sometimes seen in Les Clos, is rather pronounced. Although not typical, a really lovely wine and drinking very well at age 12.

PnP. Light greenish gold. Sea air and citrus on the nose. On the palate this seems somewhere between Chablis and something riper and less acid driven. Nice wine but perhaps not typical for Chablis or Clos - doesn't have the drive and depth of the best examples. But it does improve with air and shows no signs of premox!

Time in the bottle has rewarded us with great pleasure. Stone fruit and wet stone are complimented by a touch of warm spice from the fully integrated wood. Somewhat round with a lower level of acidity, but very pleasing. Great texture and aromatics. Not a classic grand cru Chablis, but it is very well done. Good juice.

Absolutely singing today. Stored very cool in the deep, deep part of the cellar, shows minerals galore, a deep round fruit. great maturity and precison. A point IMHO. #PensionsDanmark

Minerality, stone fruit combine with a surprising level of richness without being too heavy. Green apple and lemon notes are now in the background and tertiary characteristics are beginning to show. Great texture and layered. More weight than the best example of grand cru Chablis, but still good.

@restaurant bifångst Intense bouquet of apple, pear, peach, lemon, white flowers and some toasty, nutty, buttery notes. This must have seen oak. Continues in the same fashion on the palate. Great balance between texture, fruit and acids and a fine minerality. Long lemon-zest finish..

Tight nose with peach, citrus zest along smoky minerality. Young. Dense but broad on palate with creamy notes suggesting lees stirring. Concentrated with lively acidity and rathetr long finish. Needs time to develop and reveal complexity.

(Joseph Drouhin Les Clos Vertical at Genius in Gastronomy) Dense nose, still tight and fresh green notes. The palate is strangely round, ripe and full, acidity well in balance for its age, medium concentration and medium to long aftertaste, still way too young.

Very fine showing. Butter, minerals, good acidity, smooth texture, polished, elegant, very much in the house style.
