PnP then drunk over three evenings, and it barely moved. Light golden yellow and clear. Expressive nose, a bit of butter, with herbal notes and pears and a bit of lily too. Elegant and beguiling. On the palate it starts with a certain roundness, but it immediately shows its mineral character with herbal notes mirroring the nose. Then the acidity drives the progression towards the very lively finish, with citrus fruit notes floating over a mineral and lightly spicy background. This was in great shape and seems to have many years ahead.

Wines for the Super 15 Final: A gorgeous bouquet of lifted spice, pears, peaches and minerals. This wine is drinking beautifully, I thought it was a Puligny '10, with no one immediately thinking Chassagne. On palate, toasty, richer and broader than the Lamy, with some sweetness but with good focus provided by the acidity. Flavours of orchard fruit and minerals. The elevage was reasonably prominent and the alcohol stood out a little to me. Again a high quality Chassagne, but seemingly a wine for the medium term only.

had at Cole's grad dinner, absolutely loved by the table, at the same time rich and creamy on the palate but not overdone, large amounts of oak, minerals and fruit, the fruit drifted back and forth from citrus to pear/apple but was more the later, also a touch of sweetness… great wine that is crossover for most tastes

Vere tight with lots of minerality, crisp apple and some nectarine. On the palate good structure and some creaminess and butter. Slighty toasted oak but nicely integrated. A little less punch than the 2010 but also potential to gain more depth with time. Outstanding vintner which is still not fully in the spotlight.

Excellent, balance of wet stone, pear with hints of green apple and peach. Probably still a bit young but a delightful bottle of wine. I will be purchasing more.

A successful 2011 with sufficient richness and plumpness of fruit despite a lighter weight. Lovely fun spice and wood notes. At peak.

Pausing for the Cause Fundraiser and Dinner (Obelix - Chicago IL): Lean and bright with plenty of fresh enough orchard fruit, ending with a fun, nutty note.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting in 12/11/10 vertical. Bright and lean with apple and lemon. Also at its peak. Very classic.

Greenish yellow, very healthy colour for a 2011
Nose is very mineral dominated by typical Chassagne citrus notes, quite backward but this would be better if we had time to decant
Very fresh in the mouth, medium bodied, with excellent broadness and length - no sign of premox at all!
Love the wines from this fantastic winemaker!

This was stunning and on point. Sharp and defined. Citrus fruits. At a great point. No need to age further.

Wine with a Few Smaller Meals While in Burgundy; 6/21/2016-7/1/2016 (Cote d'Or (Mostly)): Ripe Apple throughout with lemon peel finish. Good+ weight, density and length, with noteworthy balance. Good now.
