Red cherries! ... on the nose and palate. Typical pinot color in the glass. The red cherries were predominate with a hint of vanilla and bracing, yet refreshing acidity that went well with food. Adam does a great job with pinot ... pick up a bottle and enjoy!

This wine is only getting better. Lush with toasty oak and good acidity. Very impressive early vintage from this stellar vineyard. This wine should only get better as the oak continues to integrate.

Delicious. Cherry, earth, mushroom, and some herbs. The fruit is slightly candied, but just to the degree where it adds interest rather than seeming overripe or sweet. Drink or hold.

Siduri & Novy Tasting (Santa Rosa, CA): Soft cherries, plums, red flowers and a distinct red apple peel aroma. The acid provides freshness, the fine grain tannins give it some structure. Juicy red fruit, cherries, raspberries, McIntosh apple, underlined with mocha, earth tones and tobacco. Complex and inviting now, but will likely provide even more in a year or two.

I opened this 2 nights ago, been kind of sipping on it. Two things come to mind in tasting this wine at this stage: barrel influence and SLH citrus, both which I'd expect to moderate with bottle age. The barrel piece comes into the aromatic, a mocha note and vanilla in the finish. The core of the wine is very much SLH, with red and black berry, forest floor, strawberry and a broader texture. The SLH citrus then fills into the finish and has a dominating presence. There are some red fruit tones here but the texture is more burly than I gravitate to for pinot these days. Let the oak soften and the acidity integrate more--try again in 2014.

Neither my husband nor I particularly cared for this wine. Color a deep ruby. There was some spice and earth and a little (very little) fruit/sweet on nose. I decanted this for about 1/2 hour. We kept waiting for this to open up, for something to happen....Nope, nothing. This PN presented hardly anything pleasant as we tasted it throughout the evening. There in fact was a rather unpleasant, almost bitter, taste with each sip that never subsided. Perhaps it was just this bottle. I have several more and sure hope they improve with more cellaring.

This is an amazing pinot. Still has time left bur drinking perfectly after decanting for an hour.

Another excellent example of Siduri Pinot Noir. Drinking very well now, but will last for several more years.

Although still on the early end of the drinking window, this wine is very nice. Classic Pinot characters with well balanced fruit and acidity.
