2nd bottle. Promised notes, but didn’t quite get there. Drinking this bottle on Coravin to give it a few days and revisit. An hour in the glass while I put the kids to bed did wonders for this wine.

Bought 3 bottles on auction. First of 3. Still has good structure and tannins. Will probably hold at least one of the others for 5+ years. Wife didn’t even believe it was Cabernet. Very crisp and elegant with forward minerality. Not a fruit bomb, which I liked. Evolved significantly over 2 hours. I slow-ox’d for 45 mins to an hour. Drank over the next 2. Suggest a 1 1/2- 2 hour decant and then enjoy. One note: we enjoyed this with pork rib chops and it was perfect. Maybe not a steak wine (or maybe it is - with a filet or other lean cut, perhaps). Will follow with tasting notes on next bottle.

Really impressive. Aging well, has plenty of life in it. Tannins are still quite tight. Bright fruit with a bit of funk. You can tell this wine has a real Bordeaux bent.

First bottle of Juslyn ever - very impressive! Bordeaux-like blend, integrated tannins and beautiful balance. Medium finish, definitely improved in the glass. At peak - drink if you have one!!

Two hour decant. On the nose I get cherry and elderberry. Medium bodied, with cherry as the main flavor. Slow start, stronger finish. Tannins well melded into the wine.

This wine was purchased at auction. Opened for 4 hours, no decant. Dry cork. At opening, strong chocolate/cocoa in palate. Nice nose, but nothing discernible for me (need my wife for that). After 4 hours served with grilled NY Strip. Good pairing. Wine is well-integrated and balanced, but I would have liked more fruit. (By comparison, the Juslyn Perry’s Blend ‘10 was more to my liking). Nonetheless, an enjoyable wine and good buy if it can be found at significant discount to retail.

Came across some bottles in the secondary market at a nice price and decided to give it a shot in light of the 94 rating from WA. Purple fruit - blackberry, dark currants/cassis, dark cherry, and a little plum. Really smooth with solid depth/concentration and a nice purity - medium plus body. Nice rich flavors of dark berries, some spice/licorice, a little chocolate/cocoa, and some plum. Decent finish but not overly long nor deep. Popped/poured but drank out of a decanter for a couple hours. Not much improvement with time but at a nice drinking point. A solid cab for $75 in the secondary market - although Winery direct price $125. 76% cab sauvignon, 18% merlot, 4% cab franc, and 2% petit verdot.

French oak very evident on the nose and cassis is still strong. Black berry, pepper and dark fruit dominate the palate. Long leathery finish. Should continue to age well.

Enjoyed with company and dinner and did not focus on a detailed note. Dark fruits and complimentary pepper. Classic, structured Spring Mountain Cab heavy blend.

Dark ruby in the glass. Lifted nose of dark fruits, black pepper, figs, rose flowers? Big attack, tongue coating mid, soft plush mouthfeel and long finish. Nice acidity, wine is really nicely balanced. Really digging this, concentrated dark berries, with some green vegetal notes, earth driven undertones, slightest toasted vanilla and pepper tastes. Wine has some floral notes that add elegance to the power of the dark mountain fruits. Really pleased with this.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), fig and oak. It tastes like blackberry, blueberry, plum, toast and cedar. The body is full. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Pricey, but always solid, consistent, and upper-echelon! Drinking very well, but will cellar for at least another ten years. Decant for the immediate future and this will add the the enjoyment of a big, juicy, grilled steak. Excellent!

Decanted for an hour plus before enjoying with a thick chargrilled ribeye. Big, full bodied, dark ruby showing lots of dark primary dark currant, mocha, blackberries, and cherries. Concentrated, balanced, and juicy. Lots of potential with additional cellaring. Solid finish. Hold or decant intermediate term.

Rating is for potential... tannins are overcoming the fruit.. give this a few years for the 93.. great potential

This wine did not sing tonight. No reveal and as if past its prime (which I don’t believe to be the case). Not bad, but also not what I expected.
