From magnum pnp. Attractive strawberry and cherry notes with forest floor and nice minerality. But too little acidity and tannins means that this lacks the stuffing to score higher.

I love this wine. Having had it once before from this vintage, it was a treat to drink it again. Showing its Grand Cru quality and a few in the group even nailed it as Echezeaux in this blind setting. Incredible nose with a slightly grippy finish suggesting this could use a few more years in bottle.

Drinking great now, but will get even better with more time. Bright, clean, pure red fruit laced with minerals, underbrush and a long smooth finish. Lovely expression of the Pinot grape! Yum! Glad I have more in the cellar.

From dblMG. Much rounder, broader, more full and developed than the Chambertin CDB 2014, this is smooth, silky with some sous bois, lots of fruit, quite forward, the vintage speaks, but it will keep and gain, I am sure. #IB50

Pale garnet. Aromas of cherry, blackberries, some mint and flowers. Juicy, racy palate with medium acidity and low tannin. Medium body with a good mid palate of tangy red fruits with a mineral finish. Delicious now and balanced. Might become more complex with age but it's lively and fun now.

Nose: rich red cherries, black cherries, balance. Palate: power, weight, complex, red cherries, floral notes, too young to drink now, worth +5 if you can wait.

Attractive and spicy. Wife called it Shiraz-like, which was unfair.
