Not decanted, followed over 3 hours in-bottle. Based on my last notes and the relative thinness of the wine upon initial taste, I also kept this corked in my cellar between pouring. Backbone is dissipating quickly since my last tasting 18 months ago. While there are enjoyable black cherry, dark plum flavors, there’s little coating to the palate, though the flavors are sufficiently deep to provide a lingering finish despite the lack of structure. Solid wine that is well-timed as my last bottle. Really like Pams wines, but the prices have become too rich for my blood to continue replenishing her inventory in my cellar

Bottle previously coravin'd. Pop and pour w neighbors, started w the '07 CS CF. Dark fruit, anise, faint mint on the nose; perfectly integrated with a luscious mouthfeel that shows some acid, but the dark, lingering fruits overpower. This still has some time despite the soft vintage; exceptional for the vintage, solid for any year. Drink by 2020 IMO for optimal enjoyment.

Balance of a leftover bottle. Some green on the nose along with pepper, as is typical of CF; metric notes, dark fruit, oak flavors but not the tightness that comes with lots of new oak aging. Drink by 2017-19

Coravin'd large glass; floral nose when pouring. Unusually dry mouthfeel for a CF, black cherry fruit in the background, vanilla. No green notes at all. Give this another 6-12 months before retrying, certain it'll improve nicely.

Ten years in, and this wine is at its peak. Simply stunning. If you have several, open one tonight and see for yourself.

A typical consistently good Crocker cab franc. Plenty of time left.

Young, but supple and plenty of fruit.
