Light ruby, approaching translucent at the edges. Earthy, dusty leather, hint of green. Subdued spice. Mineral. Touch of white pepper. Fine balance, lovely acidity. Decent finish, with dark fruit peeking through. Very enjoyable on opening and days two through three; becoming ever more dried by day four.

A lighter style with more red fruits and jam, this is not nearly as soft, round or plush as the "Les Porets Saint-Georges". Wonderful acid and grip in the palate and the finish is elegant with red and some black fruits as well.

Again quite dark, mineral and earthy though there is a note of more pretty red fruit coulis here. Some herbal complexity, good ripeness; marked strongly by oak on the entry, the fruit a little suppressed. Good texture, nice acidity. Long. 90-93

Strange. I think it was slightly corked, if that is possible. We didn’t drink the bottle, and that is a rare situation!

Still early but shows ok now. Lacks more nose, but fruit is there. More VR than NsG, velvet and stylish.
