Last bottle, I was originally way too conservative about its aging window by at least three years. This bottle is wonderful now but it show hints of time.

Elegant Syrah soft and supple with a complex but mild roasted flavor. Cola, cocao and black pepper. Great finish, long linger. At or just past its peak.

Weekly tasting group RWP #315; Rhone varietals (@ My place): Leather in the bouquet. On the palate juicy and fresh acidity, leather again. No more notes, but this is a beautiful wine and ready now and the next year or possibly even a bit longer.

Quick note from the SoH party - I brought to the party and it showed well with front end florals, lavender, some smoke or cured meats, with lively acidity always calling for food.

High toned florals of lavender mixed with beef jerkey, marionberries, pepper mineral streak through the middle and perfect acids. One of the better food pairings with celery soup that I've had in a while with the pepper, herbs and acids are melding together.

Such a fine wine! This is in its prime right now. Drink it! The biggest feature is its smoothness. Acid is soft, fruit is smooth and tannins are silky. The alcohol is just right at 12.5 and the finish is long and lovely. This is the kind of wine that goes down so smoothly and easily that it just disappears and you are looking for another bottle. And .. terrific price.

A Week in Osoyoos; 7/5/2014-7/11/2014 (Osoyoos, BC): No formal notes. Young juicy Syrah with 3-5 year aging potential it seems. Approachable and very enjoyable. Good acidity with softer tannins and mouthfeel. Nice value wine. Very good. 88+

Nice floral notes (lavender?) followed by some meatiness, pepper and depth of darker fruits and baking spices. What I'm finding out as the Faury mouth feel, fruit complexity but no palate exhausting weight, very seamless

Florals to no end. Flowers, white pepper, red fruit, salt cured meat, citrus, olive, a little baking spice, and tar. Perfect with lamb stew. Opened a bit after an hour.

Delicious. Light but complex. Fruity but restrained. Complex but accessible. I think this wine walks the tightrope, but does it with style and verve. An absolute gem, with so much going on that it takes hours to explore. I can only imagine what it'll be like in five years or so.

Intense floral notes along with smoked meat, light olive, dark and red fruit, earth, and herbs. Fun on its own and rockin' with food. Long finish and decent mid-palate transition. Pure Syrah! Quickly becoming a fav producer.

This wine smells like the inside of our Traeger BBQ after pulling off some steaks then throwing in some fresh flowers. There is some red fruit and plums in there as well. Held up to some beef stew nicely. Gritty yet smooth on the palate. Olives make an appearance. All the above lightly sprinkled with pepper dust. Yum!

This hit the N Rhone spot I was trying to itch. Intense florals of lavender and violets with olive, earth, spice, cherries, and Italian plums. Wine really opened up after 30min of air. Lots of stale pepper and a little ash. Masterfully well balanced with a long clean finish. Matched well with baked chicken drizzled with apricot preserves and figs. Will give my other bottles some sideways times, this wine will only get better.

Delicious, subtle yet lively. Pepper, lavender, herbs, and cured meat notes grace a substantive frame of acid and dusty tannins. 90-91.

Made in a more elegant style this wine has an excellent balance and just flows in the palette. Spicy and developed Syrah.
