(Decanted for two hours) Red colour with a brick red hue. Maturing warm nose showing stables, forest floor, herbs, coffee and some flowers in a pleasant way. Still showing some aggressive tannins on the palate with herbs and some sweetness on the finish showing warm fruit on the finish. This is drinking very well right now and matched the lamb steak perfectly. (Best 2017-2027)

Was my selected wine for Christmas eve and it was right at the top. The start was fruity and quite well-balanced and the tannin were very fine and fresh. After a hour I thought the wine will develop negatively but after three hours it was really good. Quite enjoyable for the night with my wife.

Opened tonight (April 3, 2016) after 10 year of sleep in my dark Munich Isar-near cellar in a closed original wood case. Great devolpment of different notes over 2h in my glass leaving the rest breathing air in the opened bottle.
Very pleasant and classy deep ruby, almost fresh and full bodied St. Emilion. Happy to have 23 more bottles down for the next years: the wine will be fine for at least 5 more years if stored well.

Subtle dark fruit nose with hints of tobacco and leather combining with a muted dark fruit palate. Modest tannins give way to modest length tobacco finish.

- Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of blackberry, vanilla and sweaty. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of blackberry, burnt toast and bell pepper with a medium/full body. Satin-Like texture with a medium finish.

Great wine, which is wonderful now, but can easily wait a few more years! Raspberry and blueberry, dark fruit and smooth vanilla. Crimson colour with great body and long finish with some heat.

- Crimsom color with medium forming legs and aromas of raspberry, black currant and menthol. It's balanced and has flavours of bacon and soy sauce with a medium body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Classical claret, good drinking now and for 10+ years.

A very intense nose of black berries, vanilla and sandalwood. This wine is slowly opening up and is Ready for a Long career. Ob the palate the tannins are slowly integrating. Outstanding wine with lots of potential.

Cassis nose with plummy black currant palate. Soft tannins, sufficient acidity and a lengthy finish. Yum!

Decanted an hour prior to dinner of leg of lamb. No time for formal notes while serving dinner, but a nice Bordeaux that went well with our meal.

Very ripe. Subtle violets in the nose laying over plums. Very plump in the mouth. Excellent St. Emilion.
