A little less vibrant in color than the 2013, and the nose here is not as showy either - you don't get that citric rush here, and the scent is more akin to faint rose petals.
Pretty tasty on the palate, though - not as chiseled as the '13, but more savory. Pretty interesting vintage variation, and this wine is clearly closer to the "end of the road", but still quite enjoyable today. MY recollection is that the last bottle I tried of this was somewhat oxidized, so there may be bottle variation at this point in it's development. Definitely in the "drink up" category.

Outstanding rose from magnum that had been in my cellar 5-yrs. Pibarnon does age, and I was happy with how this developed. Great depth to the honey, acacia, lemon and basil notes, but retained fresh strawberry and watermelon notes. Great as usual. My last bottle.
Helped us survive the oppressive heat wave of 4th of July.

A light blood orange color in the glass; citrus notes on the nose.
Bone dry, with decent acidity - I like this, but other tasters might find this too severe of a style. Probably on the decline but still enjoyable if you like the style.

Salmon-pink in the glass; minerally nose with a citric accent.
Bone-dry and taut/lean on the palate; nice finish. This is still quite interesting (and refreshing) at almost four years after the harvest - I can't say that it's any better or notably different than on release, but it's still a pleasure to drink.

Color seems like a cross between light salmon and orange - this strikes me as a shade or two darker than the typical bottle. Reticent nose with citric accents.
Light- to medium-bodied, with nice length on the finish. Very dry & minerally - this wine is not about the fruit. I'm grilling up some Sockeye Salmon for dinner later, and I think this should pair well with the fish.

Wonderful Provençal rose. Typical salmon colour. Was worried about this one as it had a few years on it but no to worry. Bright nose of fresh strawberries, slight peach but big ripe citrus, lemons and especially oranges. Crisp yet mouth filling on the palate with more citrus. Slight herbal edge but rich fruit through the finish. Lovely.

Gorgeous rose that has benefited from some cellar time to mellow and lose some of the sharper acidic corners. Round alpine strawberry and raspberry notes on entry and great sweet herbs as well. Bit of citrus and mineral as well.
One more mag in my cellar that will be popped either late season or next summer.

One of the benefits of regularly buying a particular wine is that you get to compare them to their younger or older siblings on a side-by-side basis once in a while.
The 2012 is a shade or two lighter in color than the 2014; the nose here is not as overtly citric.
Dry, but not severely so, and "well-rounded", for lack of a better term - very appealing on opening. I know a lot of folks like to consume their rose' in the year following harvest, but this bottle is certainly an argument that age can lend additional nuance to a rose'.
This is a blend of Cinsault and Mourvedre.

Spot on Bandol Rosé. A little age on it has changed it to have a different dimension. But still balanced, less fruity, with sufficient acid finish, losing it bite.

Never had a three year old rose before but am impressed by how fresh, lively and acidic this wine shows. Notes of strawberry and citrus integrate seemlessly with the wine. Rose doesn't get better than this.

Light salmon pink in color. Noses of peach, strawberry, melon, and spices, smelling a little dry in the end. Medium body, showing more weight and structure than the acidity with a fresh finish containing fruits and chopped citrus peels. 10% more Mourvedre than the 2010.
This is pretty full on for a rosé. Orange coppery pink colour. Strawberry, fresh peach and Chantilly cream on the nose, becoming more confected, lots of jellied fruit gums. Seriously mouth-coating, some waxy orange, fleshy texture with a vibrant, stone fruit finish. The stark absence of acidity does make this a touch flabby, but the warming alcohol keeps it piquant and lively ****

Quite a bit going on here; strawberries/cherries, lots of minerals, a bit of citrus and stone fruit. Light acidity; good structure. Drink now or should last another year or more.

From a magnum. Bright. Red fruit. Citrus. Great acidity. This is a fantastic rose. Not only does it stand alone but it can easily pair with fish and shellfish. Should age well for a few years. A classic Bandol rose.

My last note on this was about 8 months ago; salmon-colored in the glass, with a distinct citrus note on the nose.
Nicely put together on the palate, bright and lively, nice elongated finish - this is my last bottle, but the wine is still drinking quite fresh, as this is one rose capable of some bottle age.

Out of magnum. Light salmon. Full bodied with glyceral feel. Dark red fruit, fennel and some tannin. Rich, dry Bandol rosé. Sterner style than Terrebrune.

Nose: Strawberry, smoked berries and earthy notes under the fruit. Palate: Nice light berry fruits and a little smoked characteristic. Slight stone and green olive saline to the wine too. Finish: Fresh and light with a lingering herbal component.

This is obviously a well-made wine, and it paired well with food. But I found it pale in nose and taste for the price.
